Dominican Republic
A Caribbean paradise of pristine beaches, vibrant culture, and world-class all-inclusive resorts.
The Dominican Republic occupies the eastern two-thirds of the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean Sea. Known for its stunning white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and lush tropical landscapes, the DR is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the Caribbean.
From the resort-lined coast of Punta Cana to the colonial charm of Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic offers a diverse range of experiences. Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway, an adventurous excursion into the mountains, or a cultural deep-dive into merengue music and Dominican cuisine, this island nation has something for everyone.
We visited the Dominican Republic for a destination wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana — and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful resort experiences we've ever had.
